WHAT WOMEN SAY ABOUT Retreating With Tara

Being a high-achieving woman means you give a lot of yourself…

You’re intuitive, driven, and deeply committed to your growth.

You’ve done the inner work. You’ve shown up for yourself again and again.

But somewhere between the sessions, the courses, and the containers, something still feels just out of reach.

You can feel it. A deeper layer. A bigger remembrance. Something that no amount of screen time can touch.

That pull you keep feeling toward Uluru? That’s not random.

What the Week Holds

Remembrance

The truth of who you are beneath the roles, expectations and responsibilities.

Ancient Wisdom

Walk sites that have held sacred codes for 60,000 years.

Solar Plexus Activation

Step into the planetary centre of personal power, will, and sovereignty.

Sacred Sisterhood

Walk beside women who understand the call.

Heart Expansion

Open to deeper connection with yourself, life, and possibility.

Rest + Integrate

Space to soften, receive, and return home changed from within.

The sacred sites we’ll walk together.

West MacDonnell Ranges

One of the oldest mountain ranges on Earth, these ancient gorges and sacred waterholes of Arrernte Country are where the land first speaks to you – slowing you down, opening you up, and preparing every cell of your body for the journey ahead.

Kings Canyon

A breathtaking cathedral of red sandstone walls rising 270 metres from the desert floor, Kings Canyon holds the hidden Garden of Eden at its heart — a place so ancient and so still that something in you quietly, irrevocably, loosens.

Kata Tjuta

Thirty-six ancient domed formations pulsing with the deep frequency of the sacred feminine, Kata Tjuta is where the wind arrives with intention and whatever you have been carrying that is not yours is gently, firmly, lovingly released.

Uluru

The Solar Plexus chakra of the Earth. One of the most powerful energetic sites on the planet. Uluru is not a destination. It is a living, breathing, ancient being that has been holding your remembrance safe until the moment you arrived.

THE ITINERARY

7 days / 6 nights
Alice Springs → Kings Canyon → Uluru
2 nights hotel + 4 nights camping under the stars

Day 1 · Wednesday 4 November · Alice Springs
You land, you exhale, and you feel it immediately – something in the air is different here. Transfer to your hotel, settle in, and that evening we gather for our Opening Circle and group dinner. Intentions set. Journey begins.

Day 2 · Thursday 5 November · West MacDonnell Ranges
A full day in one of Australia’s most ancient landscapes. We walk Ormiston Gorge, Glen Helen Gorge, and Ellery Creek Big Hole – gorges carved over millions of years, held by the Arrernte people for tens of thousands more. You return to Alice Springs that evening already quieter, already more open.

Day 3 · Friday 6 November · Kings Canyon
We drive deep into the Red Centre and arrive at Lilla Remote Outstation near Kings Canyon. We are welcomed with a cleansing ceremony, walk the land as the afternoon light turns golden, and eat together under a sky with zero light pollution. After dinner we stargaze. No agenda. Just you and the infinite.

Day 4 · Saturday 7 November · Kings Canyon
We rise before the sun. The Kings Canyon Rim Walk at sunrise recalibrates something fundamental – 300 million years of Earth story illuminating before your eyes as the first light breaks. We descend into the Garden of Eden, a hidden sanctuary of rock pools and ancient cycad palms. Cultural activities at Lilla in the afternoon. This is the day most women point to as the turning point.

Day 5 · Sunday 8 November · Uluru
We arrive. We walk the sacred Mala Walk around the base in ceremony – guided, intentional, and unlike anything you have experienced before. As the sun sets, we gather at the lookout and watch Uluru move through every shade of ochre, rose, and violet. This sunset lives in you long after you return home.

Day 6 · Monday 9 November · Kata Tjuta, Valley of the Winds and Field of Lights
Morning walk through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta – 36 ancient domes of sacred feminine frequency where the wind arrives with intention. We visit the Uluru Cultural Centre to deepen our reverence for Anangu law and story. The afternoon is yours to rest, journal, or simply be. That evening we walk into the Field of Lights – 50,000 solar-powered stems glowing against the desert dark. It is, simply, magic.

Day 7 · Tuesday 10 November · Closing Circle and Departure
Our final morning together. We gather in Closing Circle to speak the truth of who we are now compared to who we were when we arrived. Then we transfer to Yulara Airport and fly home carrying the land in our hearts and a frequency in our cells that does not leave.

A note from your host, Tara Hegerty..

Hey, I’m so honoured you found your way here!

I’ve been facilitating land ceremonies and gridwork events for years. I carry an Indigenous spirit guide who has been walking me toward this land for longer than I consciously knew. When my son handed me a painted rock – without knowing why and said “this is for you, Mum,” it was Uluru.

The dreaming started that night.

This is not a retreat I designed. It’s one I was called to hold. And if you have read this far, I believe you were called to be in it.

Every day of this journey will be held in ceremony and intention – deeply facilitated from the moment we land to the moment we leave.

I cannot wait to walk this land beside you.

An investment in your remembrance..

Seven days on the most powerful energetic land in the Southern Hemisphere.

This is not a holiday. This is the journey your soul has been asking for.

When you say yes to this – to the land, to the ceremony, to the circle of women walking beside you – something shifts that simply cannot be undone. You go home with a clarity, a power, and a frequency that stays with you long after the red dust leaves your boots.

Most women say it is the best investment they have ever made in themselves.

Not because of what they learned. Because of what they remembered.

Your questions answered

Here are some frequently asked questions about this retreat.

The Kings Canyon Rim Walk has one steep initial climb and after that it opens into the most breathtaking landscape you have ever walked through. Everything else across the week is gentle and completely self-paced. If you can walk, you can do this.

You are not alone in that and honestly, it does not matter. Your tent is already set up and waiting for you. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag and an open heart. Women who arrive most nervous about the camping consistently say it becomes their favourite part of the entire week.

You do not need any background or experience. You just need the genuine calling that brought you to this page. The land, the group and the facilitation do the rest. You will feel held from the very first moment.

Most women who join this journey arrive alone and it’s often that very openness that allows the deepest connections to form. You will have soul family around you from day one. You will not feel alone for a single moment.

Full flight guidance is provided as soon as you book. Brisbane guests fly direct into Alice Springs and home from Uluru. Sydney and Melbourne guests have direct options too. It is simpler than you think.

Honestly, yes – around 33°C during the day and a beautiful 21°C in the evenings. All activities are planned for the cooler morning and late afternoon so you are always moving with the rhythm of the land rather than against it. Rest is built into the middle of the day on purpose and that rest is part of the work.

A sleeping bag suitable for cool desert nights, your own cutlery for camp meals and some light snacks. Everything else is taken care of.

Flights into Alice Springs and home from Uluru are not included, but full flight guidance is provided on booking so you know exactly what to look for. Travel insurance is required and is not included. You will also need to bring your own sleeping bag suitable for cool desert nights and your own cutlery for camp meals. Personal expenses along the way are your own. Everything else – accommodation, all meals, all transport, all experiences is taken care of.
